about us
It's great that you can have a choice between a more contemplative early service and a family friendly later service.

who we are

Our 8.00am service is a spoken holy communion service. What this means is that there is no singing and that the entirety of the service (apart from the sermon) is read from prepared liturgy. Communion is open to all those who profess faith in Jesus Christ. On the first Sunday of the month the service is taken from the 1662 version of the Book of Common Prayer. There are no activities for children during the 8.00am service. Join us for this contemplative and historical time of worship.

At 10.15am, we welcome those not-so-early birds which includes many families with children but all ages are generously represented. The atmosphere is more relaxed; our large central screen and two smaller side screens display everything from announcements to music to readings. There is lots to engage our younger audience with the childrens' message headed up by Guy, and the various groups: Sparklers for ages 0-4, explorers for ages 5-11 and Route 1.80 for ages 11-14. For those who get fidgety during the service, there is a play area set aside with toys available; look for it at the front, just to your right as you come in the door.
Twice a month we have communion during the 10:15 service, its offered freely to those who profess faith in Jesus Christ. Those who would prefer not to take communion are welcome to either come up for prayer or to stay in their seats.

Be sure to stick around after service for a cuppa, some biscuits, and some great chat.
