We love to share in people’s special occasions: whether you are getting married or would like you or your child to be baptised it would be good to hear from you.
Weddings
We are delighted that you are considering having your wedding in our building. As you know, there will be lots to think about. For more information, please contact the church office for one of our free wedding packs. In a wedding service husband and wife commit themselves to one another for life. That is why we hold a series of marriage preparation evenings for all couples who are getting married with us.
Baptisms
In the Bible when an adult puts their trust in Jesus Christ and becomes a Christian they get baptised. Being made wet with water is a special sign of what God has done in a believer’s life – he has joined them to Jesus! If you have become a Christian and would like to be baptised we would love to hear from you.
We also believe it is biblical to baptise the children of committed Christian believers. We encourage people who are new to church to attend one of our Christianity Explored courses to help them think through the commitments made at baptism. If you are not yet a Christian but would still like to mark the arrival of your baby we would encourage you to consider a thanksgiving service. We would love to give thanks with you!
